Beautiful location, it was before the A1 was launched.

The pocket church is exactly the same in Miasteczko Śląskie

The wooden church from the end of the 17th century is an architectural gem. The building itself captivates with its proportions and compact shape. Fragments of paintings painted on the walls are preserved inside. The rating is lower for the surroundings. A modern cemetery with glowing new gravestones does not fit the temple at all.

Beautiful wooden church of St. Walenty in Woźniki is located at Tarnogórska street, next to the parish cemetery. Today, the historic temple serves as a cemetery chapel, but there were times when it was a parish church. The first wooden church stood here in 1490, and the present replaced it in 1696. It is an oriented church, of a log construction. From the north-east side, a small sacristy adheres to the nave, and on the western side there is a porch and a slender, octagonal turret with a lantern and a spherical cupola. The gable roof is covered with shingle. In the wooden church of St. Valentine's in Woźniki there is an altar of Saint. Valentine's Day from 1901. From the same period comes the painting decoration by Oskar Kowalewski decorating the interior of the temple. A Renaissance pulpit with an interesting decoration is also valuable. The church in Woźniki is located on the Wooden Architecture Route of the province Silesia. Next to the temple is the grave of Józef Lompa - a Silesian teacher, writer and activist

Wooden church Saint Valentine's from 1696. On the cemeteries surrounding the church is the grave of Józef Lompa - a nineteenth-century teacher and ethnographer, a pioneer in the fight to maintain and stimulate the Polishness of Silesia.
