The first mention of the church in Parnów comes from 1319 and is included in the document regarding the border dispute between the abbey in Dargun and Heydebreck. It is not known, however, whether the church existed in its present place and form at that time. Probably the church in its present form has been operating since the 15th century. From 1551 it was a filial church of the Lutheran commune in Cieszyn. Since 1945, the building belongs to the Roman Catholic Church and is subject to the parish in Biesiekierz. Inside the church there is antique equipment in the form of a baroque pulpit from the 18th century, an organ gallery from the 15th century, brass chandeliers from the 18th century and a Gothic bell with a mini-inscription. The church is a brick and field stone building, oriented, single-nave, stabbed outside. The entrance from the west runs through a defensive tower. Next to the church there is a Catholic cemetery and a fence also from the 15th century.
