A very nice little church. Fun fact: There is an old cemetery next to the church ⛪

A big surprise when photographing the church was the cemetery, where the grave of a Pole Antoni Janiszewski is located. The characters of this one chapter of his book titled "Where the train stopped" was dedicated by Andrzej Krywalewicz. Antoni Janiszewski was a prisoner of war and on Christmas Eve in 1939 he was shot while trying to escape. He came from Poznań. The grave is taken care of by Kazimiera Skarbek and, as Andrzej Krywalicz writes, she maintains contact with her over ninety-year-old sister of a war hero. Despite her advanced age, the soldier's sister is coming to his grave at every All Saints' feast.

The branch church of the Chwarstnica parish from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. Built of stone. After 1945, the church was not used. Devastated, he fell into disrepair. The walls were also partially dismantled halfway up. In 1969, the ruin became the property of the Church and was rebuilt on the principle of reconstruction with the visible boundary between the phases of construction. The church wall is surrounded by a stone wall with a gate and ports. In the past, it served as a cemetery. Entered in the register of monuments.
