A firecracker for me. Let's face it, it's not the Louvre and that's not the task. What's more, the most valuable treasure that should be displayed in this museum went to Toruń, due to better security. Is it worth seeing this small museum? Yes. In one room there are excavations from the Rypin land, in the other the story of the victims of the Nazi torture chamber located in this building, and on the first floor an interesting room showing the decor of the school class in the interwar period and in the PRL. Kids can show off the alphabet with a bird's feather dipped in ink, try on school uniforms or see old testimonials with grades in subjects that were once taught. The real work, however, is done by people who work in this museum. The guide is not some boring trep, but a local history fanatic who knows how to tell interesting stories. The lady who let us in, gave the child a coloring book to take care of the toddler, he also got colored figures, and parents could easily explore the museum. Seriously, I recommend this is a local treasure.
