A pearl of the Lublin Renaissance. Worth a visit

Parish church. Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The original one erected in the years: 1482-4 with the founding of the parish, from the foundation of Paweł Jasieński, castellan of Sandomierz, consecrated in 1505 or 1507; at the paulini church. Probably after the destruction in 1549 abandoned by the monks. The present church in the first phase erected at the expense of Primate Jakub Uchański (salaried in 1575), partly on gothic foundations (presbytery and partially sacristy); expanded and completely transformed into the first quarter of the 17th century by the efforts of Mikolaj Daniłłowicz, the great Crown Treasurer (from which time nave, chapels and presbytery vault), finished (including stucco decoration) after 1625 at the expense of his son Jan Mikołajek, staroste Chelmski, later the great treasurer of the Crown, undoubtedly by the builder Jan Wolff, maybe according to the design of Archde. Zamość Jan Jaroszewicz. Renovated after the destruction in 1655, consecrated in 1693. Renovated: perhaps around 1718, after the fire in 1809, 1867 (I was torn down the attic over the vestry and the first floor over the western portico and painted polychrome in the presbytery), in 1901 according to plans of the Archdiocese.
