In Gołębie, a small town in the Lublin Province near Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula, Józef Konstanty Majewski created the Museum of Unusual Bicycles on his farm. You don't see bikes in this museum, you ride bikes in this museum. Most of them were constructed by Mr. Józef realizing his passion and dream of being a great constructor. Mr. Józef eagerly talks about constructed bicycles and shares the history of the creation of the first bicycle in the world. If you ask, you will learn why he opened a bicycle museum and how it happened that today it can boast the largest concentration of museums in Poland per square meter of a household. I am sure that in a further conversation you will also be encouraged to visit the Museum of Drunkenness, the Loreto House and the church with the pulpit supported by two confessionals.

Cool place. Very knowledgeable guy. Some funky bikes. One suggestion would be to give kids bikes to play with then tell people his stories! He has a lot!

Great experience, not as expected, but very original approach to a museum. We were even allowed to ride certain bikes. Very knowledgeable owner. People keep going and support this project!

Today I haven't visited the museum but I have been there several times during its work. The museum is located in Gołąb, it is run by a teacher of the Mechanical Technical School in Dęblin, Józef Konstanty Majewski. The location of the museum is very well located, because it is right on the route 801-Warszaws - Kazimierz Dolny. Visitors can see and even personally try recumbent bikes, circus bikes and other unusual vehicles built thanks to the fantasy of Mr. Majewski. Children like galloping bikes the most. The caretakers can transport their little ones by rickshaw Mr. Majewski offers museum lessons, for example "history of the bicycle" repair and maintenance of the bicycle "and many other topics related to bicycle and energy. It also offers a show of work in the forge. The museum is open from 01-04 to - - 31-10 in all days of the week from 10-18 h. Exceptionally, you can arrange the hour of sightseeing, the disabled and seniors are welcomed. Mr. Majewski is a great guy, I have known him for many years, a positively crazy guest for many years creates his miracles and rides them

One of the best museums I've been to so far. The very nice Mr. Józef told us a lot about his region and the village of Gołąb, where there are some interesting places, such as the church and the Loreto house. Then there was a lecture on bicycles - you talked about your hobby with great passion, it was a long time since I listened to someone so well and with interest. It was a great adventure to test these bikes. I will probably come back there more than once in my life: D RECOMMEND! : D
