The old burial cemetery, located close to the parish church at Bialska St., was founded at the end of the 18th century. The old Orthodox church was moved to the cemetery from the village of Czyże, because the parish was too poor to be built from scratch by its own forces. During the transfer, an inscription was found that the temple was donated to the church in Czyży in 1784. According to Klirovoj Vedomosti from 1846, it was a wooden chapel covered with straw, in which only panichids were held during funerals. This chapel was consecrated on October 22, 1853, p. Icons of the Kazan Mother of God. In 1993, this chapel was demolished and with the financial support of the Provincial Conservator in Białystok transferred for the second time to the active Orthodox cemetery in Narew, located on the outskirts of the village in the direction of Bielsk Podlaski. The temple was given the original appearance and covered with shingle, and its consecration took place on September 25, 1994. However, in the old cemetery, in the place where the altar was located, a small stone chapel was erected in 1994 to respect the place on the presbytery of the temple and the eternal rest of the ancestors.

The current temple is a replica of the eighteenth-century church, originally located in Czyżach. The church was brought to Narew in the 1840s, at the cemetery established at the end of the 18th century (located at Bielska street, about 250 m from the parish church). The consecration of the temple took place on October 22, 1853 (at that time she received the present call - the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God). In 1993, the church was moved to a new Orthodox cemetery in Narew (about 1.3 km from the parish church) [a]. During the reconstruction, the original appearance was restored to the temple (including the roof with shingles); the second consecration was made on September 25, 1994. The church was completely burned on May 1, 2000 (on the day of the Orthodox Easter), but soon it was rebuilt.
