The first Orthodox church in Krynki in Podlasie was built at the beginning of the 16th century. In 1804, the wooden church of the Nativity of Bogurodzica was burnt together with all the equipment and documents. Soon after, the church was rebuilt as a wooden building, and in 1864 a stone temple stood here. The church was ordained under the invocation of the Birth of the Mother of God. The new stone Orthodox church was built in the eclectic style and combines Neo-Romanesque and Byzantine elements, characteristic of the Orthodox sacred architecture of this period. The path from Polna street leads to the Orthodox cemetery in Krynki, where the chapel of St. Antoni Wielkiego. To the church parish in Krynki belongs also a branch church. The location of the risk of Our Lady in Ozieran Wielki. The Orthodox Church of the Birth of the Mother of God in Krynki stands on one of the 12 streets that leave the largest roundabout in Poland and the second one in the world, along with the Paris roundabout.

Built in 1864-69 in an eclectic style with a predominance of Neo-Roman and Byzantine features. Entered in the register of monuments under No. r: A-54 of 18.02.2003.
