Very nice church in the neo-Gothic style from 1910. During the war, it was badly damaged, but it was rebuilt and is now a source of pride.

I was very glad when I saw a bust of Joachim Hreptowicz (Polish Joachim Ignacy Litawor Chreptowicz, 1729 - 1812) near the church - one of the largest landowners in the territory of modern Belarus. He was known as an activist of the Polish-Lithuanian Enlightenment, he was a supporter of physiocratism, a publicist, a poet, an interpreter. In Belarus, he is also known as the organizer of the exemplary farmstead of Shchorsa. Since 1765 Joachim Khreptovich was a marshal of the Lithuanian tribunal, then from 1773 - Lithuanian chancellor. He headed diplomatic missions in Paris and Vienna. He was one of the creators (1773) and for two decades a member of the Commission for Education (the institution for leadership of public education). He headed the department of the Academy and schools of Lithuania. Since 1780, Mr .. was the head of the royal groupings of tycoons and gentry in Lithuania. Since 1791 - Minister of Foreign Affairs, since 1793 - Chancellor of Lithuania. At the end of the XVIII century. founded the "Association of Friends of Science" in Warsaw. In his ancestral estate Shchorsy (Novogrudok uyezd) built a palace, a school, a Uniate church, organized a library with an archive in which there were more than 10,000 copies of books, including works by the greatest philosophers, Roman and Greek classics, Italian and French classical literature, works on the history of Belarus, Lithuania and Poland. The library of Hreptovich was used by scientists Joachim Lelevel, F. Malevsky, Jan and Andrzej Snyadecki, and also there was Adam Mickiewicz. Librarians in the Shores worked M. Volsky, J. Chechot. In general, Poland, Belarus and Lithuania have so many intertwined. Do not forget about this. We must love and respect each other. Am I right or not?
