Doctors, good specialists, you can rely on, but already Mr. nurse and support staff I heard her asking for a change of pampers, it was 3 hours, food terrible for 3 weeks is the breakfast itself terrible, cold meat and bread, other meals are also not suitable for eating, terrible in these times what everything is there, note I do not recommend it,
I do not recommend I was with my cousin because of a huge abdominal pain the doctor sent him back with a receipt, I remind you that my cousin has diabetes and had 400 sugar
At the outset, I would like to thank the doctors of the Hospital of Barlicki in Łódź for the commitment to the life of my Grandma. Unfortunately, in the era of restrictions, our only contact was by phone. Grandma herself told us about the kindness and care that doctors gave her in the last days of her life. In particular, Dr. Miłosz Kuświk was the one who approached Grandma and us with great empathy, the relatives with whom he was in constant contact. Unfortunately, she could not count on the help of the middle personnel of the second hospital's Interna ward. She complained that the ladies did not want to help her wash or pour hot water over the cup, another patient from the hall did it for which I would like to thank her very much. In my last conversation with her, she said that while asking for the mug to be poured over, she heard from the attendant "that you were already drinking today". Then I told Grandma that I would not leave it like that, but Grandma asked me to do it after she left. It was similar with a request to wash it with a damp handkerchief. The temperature outside the window was 35 degrees, so in the room I guess it was even worse. Grandma even offered to pay for such a favor and then heard that the housekeeper cares for her family and "she doesn't have to do anything." The terrible thing is that in the time of a pandemic, the family and loved ones are not able to "lean" over the suffering. Grandma was getting weaker every day and the only help she received was after telephone intervention in the doctor's room, where we asked the doctor for a reaction. In fact, after this call, Grandma was washed, but is it that you have to ask "Big ladies in charge" if your relatives are not allowed into the facility. I am writing this because I promised myself and Grandma that I would not leave it like that, because in the last days of her life she did not deserve such treatment. Of course, someone will say that this is "word against the word" and I agree with it, but Grandma was fully aware and she was very grateful to doctors .. so why not others? . I appeal to the middle staff for empathy and a moment of reflection on their behavior, I also guess that it could have been one specific person and not the entire staff. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to know the personal details of a particular "bad" attendant. I also appeal to all whose relatives are currently in the hospital not to be afraid to speak up and ask the middle personnel about what is really written in their work duties, not to mention the ethics of the profession. It is probably not about closing hospitals in front of the family in order to make patients a private farm, because "the family does not see". I take into account the wave of indignation, especially among the middle staff, although I swore to myself that I will write what is on my heart, because I hope that this person will read it somewhere, one day and reflect on their ethics. It is comforting that "karma always comes back" and I have no qualms about it.
With great respect to all "good people" who have been and are always with the patient.
