Late-Romanesque Church of the Savior of the World (14th century) Not easy to find but a beautiful little church is located in the Puszczyki district near Puszcza, near Bóbr. From the road you can not see it completely even though it is only about 200 m away. It stands at the end of Kościelna Street. It was erected at the end of the 13th or at the beginning of the 14th century - as legend says - in the place of an old temple where the Slavs worshiped Flins (Flynza), the god of death, the underworld and rebirth. Was it really hard to find out today, especially since the very figure of Flins is highly controversial. Many contemporary researchers agree that it is only a literary invention (and for the first time appeared in 1492, in the chronicle of Konrad Botho from Braunschweig). There is not much information about the history of the temple preserved. It is known that she once called the call of Saint. Anna and that after 1945 she declined. It was abandoned and destroyed, but fortunately the Lubuski Polish Catholic Church became interested in it. The renovated parish today serves the parish. Savior of the World. Most of the church's walls were plastered, but large fragments were left without plaster. It is clearly visible on them that the building was used centuries ago blocks of turf ore. Only the Baroque altar has been preserved from the interior decoration. Note: When you turn from Kraszewski Street to Kościelna, be sure to pay attention to the small penitential cross located almost on the very bend, right next to the fence of a private property. It's easy to miss.
