The village of Drzeńsko on the Lubusz Land in the Słubice poviat has a valuable monument of ecclesiastical architecture. It is a brick Roman church built of granite cubes in the early fourteenth century. Later, it was rebuilt several times, but some Romanesque features, including windows in the gable wall and granite walls, have been preserved until today. The church was rebuilt in the fifteenth, sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. The tower was added only in the 19th century. After the destruction during the last war, the rebuilt temple, despite modern equipment, is worth stopping and looking at. Currently, the church of Merciful Jesus in Drzeńsku is a branch of the parish in Rzepin and belongs to the Lubuski Romanic Route that runs also on the other side of the border with Germany.
