Lubiechnia Wielka is a village in the Słubice poviat and the Rzepin commune. Its history according to written sources dates back to 1329 and until 1945 it lay within Germany. The Evangelical church in the neo-Gothic style was built in Lubiechnia Wielka in 1898. Oriented temple with a tower from the west side has a square presbytery with pseudo-vault cross-ribbed, and from the south side of the tower an annex, which houses the stairs leading to her and the only preserved on this side of the gallery. The temple, which looks impressive from the outside, looks much more modest with modern equipment. After World War II, the church was renovated and from the consecration in 1950 until today serves Catholics. The Church of the Mother of God of the Rosary in Lubiechnia Wielka is a branch of the parish in Rzepin.
