The church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Lubiechnia Mała, although it was built in 1669, is not the first temple in this place. It stands on the area of the earlier, probably from the fourteenth century, which, however, did not survive the test of time, and more precisely was destroyed during the Thirty Years War (1618 - 48).
It is a construction of a half-timbered construction with a brick and plastered filling. It was created on a rectangular plan with a three-sided ending from the eastern side. The wooden church tower was added in 1818
Original equipment has survived with a baroque altar, pulpit and gallery, a characteristic feature of evangelical churches. Currently, the church in Lubiechnia Mała is a branch of the parish in Rzepin.
