The village of Sokola Dąbrowa is historically connected with Wielkopolska. It has existed at least since the thirteenth century, for the first time mentioned in a Latin document from 1259. It belonged to the Cistercians and until the partition it lay within the borders of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. After the Second Partition of Poland in 1793, the village became part of the Prussian Partition. In 1312, a wooden church was built in the village. Assumption of N.M.P., which survived until 1724. A new church was built, which was replaced in 1847 with a present, brick-walled neo-Gothic style. The main altar in the Baroque style comes from the old church. - The village Sokola Dąbrowa is historically connected with Wielkopolska. It has existed in the Latin-Polish periodical.
