The first mention of the church of St. Anna in Konotop comes from 1308. The current temple was erected in the mid-16th century. The interior design of the church makes a very good impression. Unfortunately, the external architecture compared to other old temples - however original - does not arouse my admiration. Maybe you just lacked the tower? There is an uncertain message that such a tower actually existed in the past. It was destroyed by fire and was no longer rebuilt. In turn, the church belfry, especially the bell itself cast in 1595 and the inscriptions on it are extremely intriguing. There are coats of arms of the former owners of the estate - the Kottwitz family and an inscription saying: "I invite you to the Word of God, I call you to hear the Word of God."
