Gęstowice is located in the municipality of Maszewo, in the Krosno poviat on the Lubusz Land. It is a village with a medieval pedigree, because for the first time in historical documents it is mentioned already in 1308. There is a beautiful, though neglected church in the Baroque style. It was erected in the years 1696 - 1711 according to the design of the French architect Bernard Riegelan. The temple is a nave with a transept and a tower finished with a helmet with a lantern. The nave and transept are taken over by a gable roof, while the three-sided presbytery has a multi-pitched roof. The church's original features include the original Baroque pulpit and the barrel vault with lunettes. The external façade is decorated with pilasters and decorative cornices. In 2009, the church underwent replacement of roofing, so there is hope for further work improving its technical condition. The church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Gęstowice is under the parish of the Częstochowa Archdiocese of Częstochowa in Cybinka

I recommend to see the Roman Catholic Church beautifully situated on a hill in the middle of the village. It looks very nice after renovation of the roof and facade. Next to it, there is a primary school near the Maszewo commune. And the old park and ruins of the palace or manor are unfortunately in poor condition
