Drzeniów on the Lubusz Land is located in the Cybinka commune in the Słubice poviat, by the road connecting this poviat city with Zielona Góra. It is an old village existing already in the thirteenth century, and the first historical document in which it is mentioned dates from the year 1308. The first wooden church was built in Drzeniów as early as in the 13th century. The current Gothic, brick stone and brick was made in the place of this wooden two centuries later. It was rebuilt in the 19th century, enlarging the sacristy. It is a squat indoor building with a massive tower from the west. Currently, the church of St. Częstochowa in Drzeniów belongs to the parish in Cybince under the same call.
