Perfect muzeum for a quick visit. Despite being in a small part of dungeon, the museum is quite informative about the history of architectural permutations that took place in this very place where museum is located. Great video describes the appearance of (present) St. Michal’s church and history before it. The wall of sculls in bones in the final section of the museum is epic, tho creepy. Greatly advised!

When I walked in to this museum I had no idea what it actually was, so I was very surprised to learn so much about what is the oldest structure in Gdansk. The guided tour is pre-recorded and played over a PA system in either Polish or English, which is mega-convenient! Hearing the history of this (once) church, you realize just how tied-in to the entire history of Gdansk it is. From the very beginning when the City was first settled, through every single war (major or minor), this building really had been through the wars, so to speak. What remains is the entire basement level of the church and inside you'll see artifacts, several rooms and most surprisingly, a wall made entirely of human remains! The tour is very cheap, short and sweet - for about 6 złoty it's well worth it.
