The first mention of the church comes from the 14th century, but the present wooden church is from the mid-18th century. From the previous building, we can find a 16th-century bell on the church belfry and a stone baptismal font. The interior of the church is baroque (ie from the 16th to the 18th century) - such as the main altar, side altars, pulpit and paintings. It is also worth knowing that this church, surrounded by Saturdays, lies on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship
A wooden church covered with shingles just off the main road in Mikołów. Pniewy. Fantastic, I came across it completely by accident and recommend it to anyone who will be in the area. Dated 1757. Once inside, you can admire, you can go to the choir, a beautiful view. Right next to the belfry in the same style. A small parking lot next to the church.
The Church is delightful in every way, and the Pastor, the Magnificent Shepherd, Priest, Man!
A beautiful open-air church and an amazing atmosphere of silence and prayer inside. It is worth sitting there and the prayer arises.
