The oldest building in Karsek, presented in Figure 1 and 2, is the church, as evidenced by its forms: stone building material, projection and preserved form of a walled portal in the south elevation, between the second and third windows (counting from the western corner). Built in the Middle Ages, the church was shorter than the present from the east by about 8 meters. It was therefore founded on a rectangular plan. It was built from carefully machined granite blocks. The upper part of the walls was rebuilt in a later period. In total, the exact appearance of the church from this first period is difficult to determine, although copperplate engraving was made in 1652 by M.Merian (Figure 1). Perhaps Merian stayed in Karsek in 1624, just after the construction of the hunting castle. The aforementioned engraving shows the church structure we are interested in (specifically the western part), whose façades are clasped with buttresses, between which there are high windows with ornamental brick motifs forming divisions. The top of the west façade, on whose axis the buttress is also crowned, is crowned with a turret covered with a slender conical helmet. The forms shown in the figure are characteristic of the brick construction of the developed Gothic, and not the constructions of indoor stone temples built from the Romanesque traditions. If the drawing was made of nature, its incompatibility can be explained only in such a way that the figure shows the church after the reconstruction, which could have existed in the fifteenth century. Then, most likely, the windows were enlarged, which had to be smaller at the very beginning, the façades were reinforced with brick buttresses. In this way, a very interesting block was created, standing out from other rural temples of this area. In the mid-sixteenth century, after the disappearance of monastery property, as I mentioned earlier, the church was adapted for the needs of the Protestant liturgy. He remained under the patronage of the State, and after 1624 also under the protection of landowners renting property. In the 17th century, the buildings of Karska were destroyed. This is evidenced by, among others another iconographic message of this town, made by D.Petzold, 1710-1715. The changes in the church block visible in this figure (Figure 2) allow to determine the time of reconstruction of the object temple for the period before 1710. The most important change was the construction of the tower at the west elevation, maintained in Baroque forms, topped with an onion-shaped helmet and lantern. The lack of buttresses at elevations suggests that they were dismantled, which indicates that the same fate met the vaults in the interior. Visible on the iconographic transmission, the south elevation is shown with a porch in the middle, an additional entrance next to the porch and five windows terminated semicircularly. The change of the roof resulted in the construction of new peaks, which are not shown in the picture very precisely. A semicircular arcade, preserved on the south wall, placed above the entrance from the porch, and now walled up, indicates that this was the place where the gallery was located above the side nave (the gallery), most probably preceded by a wooden balcony. Entry to the emporia led from the porch. (Excerpts from an article by Piotr Wojciechowski "Karsko on old engravings" - Ziemia Gorzowska No. 49 / 04-12-1997, pp. 13-14)

The branch church of the Nowogródek Pomorski parish. It has a birth certificate dating back to the 13th century. The peripheral walls of the basement have survived from this period. Twice thoroughly rebuilt. In the eighteenth century, when the baroque tower was added and in the nineteenth century when the whole church was changed. Entered into the register of monuments.

A beautiful monument from the 13th century. "The heart" of the village. His tower can be seen from the whole area.
