This church has its own atmosphere where you can focus on prayer. It was a sad celebration because I was saying goodbye to my brother's husband. And 9 months ago I buried my husband.

Interesting, interesting place. Good sermons, clear parish notice board. Parking problem for cars. That's why * less.

Church of St. Barbara and Saint. Maurycy in Inowrocław Church of Saint Barbara and Saint Maurice - a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the deanery of the Land Forces of the Military Ordinariate of the Polish Army. The construction of the temple began on August 13, 1927, the church was consecrated on July 2, 1933 by the Field Bishop of the Polish Army, Józef Gawlinę. The ceremony was attended by generals Stefan Pasławski and Wiktor Thommée, soldiers together with the commander of the 59th Infantry Regiment of Wielkopolska, Colonel Bolesław Mirgałowski. The inhabitants of Inowrocław together with President Apolinary Jankowski came to the crowds. The Poznań Governor, Count Roger Adam Raczyński also came to the ceremony. The temple bearing the call of saints Barbara and Saint Maurice - patrons of soldiers was erected in the style of classicising modernism. The model for the building designer, architect Marian Andrzejewski from Poznań, was the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Warsaw, built in 1777-1781 by the architect Szymon Bogumił Zug. The walls of the temple were made by the builder from Inowrocław, Franciszek Dźwikowski. The church is an unoriented building, planned centrally on a Greek cross plan with an elliptical rotunda at the intersection of aisles, covered with a monumental dome ending with a lantern, illusively resembling a soldier's helmet with its form. On the dome there are oval windows in the neo-Baroque style. Between the arms of the cross there are rounded four chapels, one of which serves as the sacristy of the temple. The dome of the building and the roofs of the chapels were covered with eternit tiles, while the small turret on the dome was covered with zinc sheet. In later years, the eternit tiles and the zinc sheet of the turret were replaced with copper sheet

Beautiful architecture, especially when it comes to a dark green dome resembling a soldier's helmet. The interior is also admirable

A place of peace and quiet. Perfect places for reflection and communing with God.
