Reviews
Alexandre Nunes de Oliveira (08/20/2019)
This is a small museum dedicated to the life and work of this artist, whom is not internationally very well known, but he was clearly gifted, creative and witty as well. This is actually the house were he used to live and were he had his studio. It's in a very central spot of the city, just by the main square and one of the main gothic churches (Saint Isabel). It's free entrance and its really worth it, if you are contemporary art oriented.

Located in the northwest corner of Rynek there are two charming houses known as Jaś i Małgosia, or also "Hansel and Gretel houses". They are joined by a baroque arch built in 1728, which once led to the church cemetery (the Latin inscription says "Death is the gateway to life"). The 'Hansel' house is also known as the Copperplate Engraver House, by local artist Eugeniusz Get-Stankiewicz, who had his studio here.
