Taking part in KPP, I was disappointed with the classes that were conducted:
- According to the Ordinance of the Minister of Health, the course should last 66 hours, according to the schedule which is made available on the list, it should last 52.5 hours, in reality the classes on some days ended an hour earlier.
- During the classes, the theory was mainly presented, the practical classes were much less compared to the schedule - the main practical topics were SCA and the traumatic patient during the course, no methods of wound management / protection were presented, apart from putting on a triangular scarf.
- There was no exercise on vacuum rails - the argument was that they work in the same way as a vacuum mattress.
- There was no exercise on the pulley - the paramedic's argument was that untrained people (KPP) can easily hurt it, so they will not show it.
- There was no pelvic stabilization exercise with the belt, because the belt got lost somewhere - short demonstration using a blanket
- There were no exercises in using the splints - a short demonstration of putting the splint on with the rescuer med who did not install it correctly :)
- Teaching according to the old ITLS guidelines only after noticing that this is not done anymore + checking in the new manual, the error was corrected
- Paying attention to the fact that some activity was not performed in a quick trauma examination, such as: pupil assessment, where at the end of your textbook it clearly says that it is done in a further examination
- The exam was a parody, in the theoretical part, everyone downloaded and the examiner left the room, in the practical part, a traumatic patient, postponed a 5-minute diploma to the board and home :)
Summing up, no matter with what knowledge you leave this course, you will still receive the title of Lifeguard, looking at some people who have passed it, I would rather not hit them privately.
People I can praise for the work they have done: Wit Zawadzki, Mariusz Koral, Ela (sorry I do not know the name)
EDIT: The grade is 100% fair, I paid you for the course and it was not completed in full, so who is it?
I attended a training course for lifeguards, in fact, I came to do a drumming course to get points. All in all, I was not satisfied with the financing of the course, because what can I find out after 10 years of work. From the first day of classes, however, my attitude changed, it was revealed how my knowledge had changed over the years and what great shortcomings as my mother's lifeguards. We have done a lot of exercises and listened to substantively justified lectures. I was very impressed with the competences of the instructors, and Wit Zawadzki deserves a special mention, we were undoubtedly lucky and pleased to take part in the classes conducted by Wit. I wish everyone such guides on their professional path because they infect everyone with their enthusiasm and unique competences. Greetings to all Triage instructors, I will certainly apply for other courses, because they are worth it. I recommend the Triage training course to potential clients. After the course, my view of rescue has changed significantly, I think for the better and more ambitious.
Today I was forced to call a medical transport to my father who was ill and the choice fell on Triage. From the very beginning I was pleasantly surprised because the ambulance arrived earlier than the dispatcher anticipated. The gentlemen conscientiously approached the subject, showing kindness towards the elderly and weak patient. I can recommend Triage with a clear conscience, because in addition to professionalism, you can see that the gentlemen work with their calling.
I highly recommend Triage, full professionalism! The professional development course for paramedics, recently organized in Bukowina Tatrzańska, was very substantive and substantive. The instructors have a lot of knowledge and experience. In addition, everything in a nice and pleasant atmosphere.
Best wishes.
Peter
Today I had the opportunity to watch the paramedics who were taking my grandma to the hospital at work. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick arrival, excellent approach to the patient, professionalism and accuracy with which the interview was made and care during transport. Grandma's smile, caused by the atmosphere in which it was prepared, was also invaluable to us. I highly recommend this company.
