They fell in the fight for Zamość at the end of August 1914. A bloody battle between the Russian and Austro-Hungarian armies. Cemetery devastated after World War II. Graves were plundered, the fence was destroyed. After 1990, the TSO in Grabno took care of this place. A cross was set up, the gate was renovated, tombstones were set. In 1997, the "Memory" Foundation made subsequent reconstructions.

Once a while cleaned, sometimes the lamp is burning, but generally neglected, no fences, damaged plates.

The cemetery is located near the village of Zamość, in which in 1914 a battle took place between the German and Russian armies. Several dozen German soldiers are buried in the cemetery. The last modernization of the facility took place in 1997.
