The church, whose construction began in August 1957, was put into use by the faithful in December of the following year. The times when the church was built were sometimes when the traditional church architecture struck the eyes of the authorities of that time, which is why this building was deprived of a tower with a cross and a belfry. The original shape of the church was smaller, although it must be admitted that the expansion of the building did not disturb its architecture. The interior, however, underwent a radical change. The Christ on the wall seems to be almost the same, but the wall is different, smooth and with a painted cross. The previous raw brick suited this image more.
