Catherine accompanied, and today they are on the other side of life " The figure of railwaymen's patron was set in this place in 1997 on the initiative of Tadeusz Bronicki of the Gliwice station supervisor. During the recently completed renovation of the station, the chapel was damaged. After renovation at the specialized Piekary Śląskie plant, it returned to its place. After this momentous act, all the assembled thanked Mr. Henryk Sadowski, a long-time employee of PKP from the Tarnowskie Góry node. It was thanks to his initiative and efforts that the chapel with the patron saint of railwaymen was dedicated. .
