Church of the Transfiguration in Stargard - located at ul. Nadbrzeżna, currently belongs to the parish of the Polish Catholic Church. The church is the seat of the dean of the Pomeranian-Greater Poland deanery, based in Stargard, in the Diocese of Wrocław. It is a neo-Gothic, indoor temple, erected on a rectangular plan, originally five-span. The church was built at the end of the 19th century according to the design of L. Braatz. From the beginning until 1945, the church belonged to the Old Catholic community of the Catholic Church. The temple is currently three-span, closed from the east with a pentagonal presbytery. Above it rises an arcaded gable with a frieze and pinnacles. The church did not suffer during World War II, but until 1959 it was destroyed because it was not used. In the same year, the eastern part was transferred to the Polish Catholic Church, while the existing western part was transferred to the Pentecostal Church and the Baptist Church. As a result of poor condition, in 1984 two western spans of the temple were demolished.

Why is there no such church at least in every major city ?. I live in Gorzów Wlkp and there is no Polish-Catholic church there.
