The monument was unveiled in front of the Institute of the Polish Mother's Health Center in Łódź on the day of its opening, ie on May 26, 1988, in the presence of W. Jaruzelski himself as a proof of the respect of the socialist authorities for the nation. Authors of the project: A. Karwowski, T. Markiewicz, S. Romańczuk. It is worth seeing "by the way", because the monument itself does not make a great impression, just like its surroundings, already gnawed by the teeth of time.
