There had a film festival the day before I visited. It was very regretted. However we had great fun in Torun, especially we have met a fantastic street singer with one old lady dancing with his song.

Located in the heart of Toruń's historic old town, the Old Town Hall, the most important building in the city from a historical point of view, is one of the largest and most beautiful buildings of this type in Europe. Built on a square plan with an internal courtyard, it is a symbol of the Gothic Old Town Complex, entered in 1997 on the UNESCO World Heritage List. For centuries, trade, public and political life of the city focused in the Old Town Hall. The town hall was the main court center and the seat of the city council. Rulers were taken here: the great masters of the Teutonic Order, and above all the kings of Poland, who at that time served as a temporary residence. For this reason, one of the rooms on the first floor is called the Royal Hall. It was here that King Jan Olbracht died (in 1501).

The price is a bit high compared to other attractions that were more engaging and richer. However, it is worth entering just for the view. I recommend visiting during sunset hours. Really beautiful! The service was also nice. There was also no queues. I recommend buying a ticket online.

An absurd price for climbing the tower. You know, the view is great, a new perspective. And the organization in covid times is hopeless, only 10 people can enter the tower and 20 people can be crowded inside a closed room. There should be a line in front of the entrance
