This is a small museum which is literally full of old communist era household items. It's located right next to Toruń Miasto train station (you can hear the trains rumbling past). For 45 mins you're led around each room by Joanna the ecstatic owner who is clearly passionate and proud of her amazing collection. Cue an assortment of working Soviet-era TVs, old vacuum cleaners and even a half empty box of cocoa powder with the expiry date of some time in 1979...and yet the cocoa still smells fresh! Fascinating stuff! If you don't speak Polish best to come with a Polish friend who can translate everything for you as there are no signs or labels...just Pani Joanna! :)

A very atmospheric place! It is worth going and seeing interesting things and listening to their interesting stories. A smile on your face is guaranteed. I heartily recommend!

We recommend a visit to the "museum" because you cannot call it a museum. In the museum, you can't touch anything, sometimes you can't take pictures, everything under glass in display cases. And here a very nice owner approaches the guests as if for a coffee instead of visiting a museum. It tells about the most interesting exhibits, shows how they work and takes them back to the era. Great place. Mrs. Joanna, a real enthusiast, talks with enthusiasm about the collected souvenirs. Lots of exhibits, a real sentimental journey back to childhood. I would highly recommend.

If you are sentimental and you want to move to the times of the People's Republic of Poland for a while ... you must visit the museum! ☺ The owner is kind, she tells the story of the exhibits with passion. I sincerely recommend !!!
