The parish church of the Holy Apostles Simon and Juda Tadeusz was erected in the years 1323-1349 by the Bishop of Chełmno, Otto. The year 1700 was a breakthrough in the history of the Wąbrzeźno temple, when the fire almost completely destroyed it with many elements of equipment. The reconstruction was carried out in the same year. Warfare in 1939-45 happily did no damage to the church, the older parish registers were plundered. After the war, in memory of the fallen parishioners, a statue of Christ of Warsaw was erected next to the church. The church is open, very well-kept outside and inside.
