The only place in Poland where you can see the Beauty and Power of the Marxist idea without the distracting contrast with the anti-communist symbolism of that period. A refuge of a different reality that the young generation did not have the opportunity to experience. The arrangement of the exhibits is very well thought out, provoking reflection and causing a specific feeling of nostalgia and spiritual "Unheimlichkeit" in the viewer. Nothing realizes the power of the people as much as the missing arm of Comrade Bierut, which once led the nation to socialism, only to be torn off by the nation later. The visit to the gallery had a great impact on me and a deep sadness in the face of the fragility of even the greatest ideals

One of the buildings of the Zamojskie museums in Kozłówka houses the gallery of the art of socialist realism. Monuments, sculptures, posters - a rich collection of works that have stunned the nation by the authorities. Currently, it is similar only slightly different measures.

I had high expectations of this place but was disappointed. Actually, the Gallery is one room with sculptures, propaganda posters, paintings, etc. The original monuments of the leading heroes of communism, placed outside the back of the Gallery, make a certain impression.
