A place for a moment of reflection after visiting the Zamoyski Museum. Beautifully situated next to the palace park with the entrance to the room of Cardinal Wyszyński. It's worth coming here for a while ...
Beautifully decorated chapel. It is worth watching it and take a moment to ponder.
The chapel was erected in the years 1903-1909, and the royal chapel in Warsal was the inspiration for its interior. It was from this that the colonnade, stucco, organ prospect and altar were copied. However, it has only one storey (14 m high) and is devoid of decorative decoration, but with decorative stained glass windows.
Stained glass windows - altar with the scene of the Annunciation and lateral ones with geometric decoration and the Zamoyski coat of arms - unknown authorship.
A copy of the tombstone of Zofia Zamoyska's Czartoryski by Romano Romanelli, carved in white marble, is a testimony to the honor Konstanty Zamoyski had for his grandmother. The original from Lorenzo Bartolini's 1838-46 is in Florence, in the church of Santa Croce.
The palace chapel is located at the back of the palace from the garden side. The chapel. The Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the years 1903-09 with the efforts of the 1st Ordynat Koziołiec. A marble copy of the Versailles altar and behind it a magnificent stained glass window depicting the scene of the Annunciation. In the 1960s and 1970s, the chapel was a warehouse for socialist realism. After the reactivation of the museum, the chapel was made available to the public. Currently, masses, baptisms and weddings are occasionally celebrated in the chapel. The ticket costs a little and it is worth taking a look.
The beautiful chapel of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kozłówka was erected in the years 1903-1909, thanks to the efforts of the first ordinate. Chapel modeled on the royal chapel in Versailles.
The marble main altar, which is a copy of the Versailles altar, is decorated with a bas-relief with the scene of the Entombment, cast by a Paris company. On the left, a copy of the tombstone of Zofia Zamoyska née Czartoryska, who died in Florence in 1837 and was buried there in the Church of Santa Croce. In the vestibule of the chapel, reconstruction of the room of Cardinal Wyszyński, who served in 1940-41
