The temple was probably founded in 1717 as a Uniate church. The church was founded by the Firlejowie of the Lewart coat of arms. In 1875, after the liquidation of the Uniate diocese, it became the property of an Orthodox parish. In 1890 the building was expanded. In 1930, the temple was handed over to the Catholic Church as part of the restitution of the Orthodox church. The building is interesting and worth visiting. I recommend to everyone.
