The museum is definitely worth visiting !!! The paintings of Wierusz-Kowalski and other painters (mainly oil on canvas) are interesting, the collection is quite large and the only downside is their display: it is a bit crowded. However, it is worth spending 30min-1h on it. However, the archeological presentation of the history, development and various pages of the history of Suwałki, Suwałki Region from the times of the ice sheet and the first settlers to the present day is a hit. The presentation is consistent, understandable, and the relation of all the content read to the display cases with the artifacts themselves is preserved. The museum presents a new approach to presenting its resources and making visitors interested in them. Note: it is not possible to pay by card at the ticket office. Adult ticket - PLN 8.

I highly recommend it. I took my 7-year-old son to the museum, who initially was reluctant to visit the museum. When we started our tour, he was delighted with the exhibits on display

Fantastic place. Archaeological exhibition very addictive, even a 4-year-old. Visually: full of delight for children. You can learn a lot, but the exhibition is not overloaded.

Excellent collections of works by A. Wierusz-Kowalski and representatives of the Munich School. A modest but well thought out and interesting archaeological section. WORTH!
