A beautiful church built of brick from Gozdnicka clay.

The temple was built as an evangelical church. Pastor Richard Darr for the construction of the church received help and funding from a Lutheran consistory from Wrocław and the government of the Legnica region. Two Gozdnica companies funded bricks and roof tiles. The patroness of Countess Ema von Liittichau (Borowe) offered wood for the construction of the temple, the owners of carts gave free carts for the needs of construction, the rebels ran a fundraiser for a new fund to build the temple. The design of the temple was developed by the architect Ivan from Berlin, construction work was carried out by the Besser brothers company, the carpenter master Huckauf was chosen as the construction manager. On September 22, 1929, the cornerstone was laid. At the end of 1929, the building was completed in its shell (it was masked with colored clinker). The building consisted of a nave, connecting to it from the west of the presbytery and sacristy, and the tower from the east. The steel plant in Bichum funded three new bells for the temple. The windows were manufactured at the Gerstner und Weise company from Görlitz, while the Gozdauer carpentry masters Gebauer, Girke and Dietrich from Gozdnica made 466 seats in the nave and on the empire; the ceiling and walls were painted by Hoffmann's painting masters Jesche and Krampf, and Kolanoski performed gas heating together with the gas plant. The organs were funded by the Hinze company from Żary. After all the work was done on September 27, 1930, the temple was opened. The temple survived the Second World War. After 1945, it was taken over by Catholics and received its current call

Honestly, I'm not a devotee of sacral objects.
