A beautiful, small, cozy church with a warm atmosphere. A little sound system during mass needs improvement, but it will be fixed soon zaraz
Jenin is a large village in the Bogdaniec commune in the Gorzów poviat on the Lubusz Land. It lies about 10 kilometers west of Gorzów Wielkopolski. In historical documents it is mentioned for the first time in 1278. It was a village belonging to the Cistercians, and during the Reformation it was taken over by Brandenburgian electors.
In 1807, almost all of it burned down in a great fire caused by the Napoleonic soldiers. During its reconstruction a new church was built, and it took place in the years 1811 - 12. The new temple was built according to the design of the Berlin architect Papritz, taking into account Neo-Romanesque and classicist styles. The towering, three-story tower crowned the temple from the west side. During the renovation in 1966, the galleries characteristic of Evangelic temples were liquidated. From June 24, 1987, the church of Saint. Michael the Archangel in Jenin is a parish church.
