The first church in Bogacica was built in 1597. The founder was the then owner of the village, Melchior von Skall de Gross-Elgot. It was a wooden, oriented building, i.e. with the presbytery facing east. It was about 19 meters long and 9 meters wide. At the end of the 18th century, mainly due to the colonization carried out by the Prussian authorities, there was a rapid increase in population. The wooden church turned out to be insufficient. Therefore, Ernest Samuel Friedl was commissioned to carry out plans for the reconstruction of the church and in the years 1797–1805 a new, stone one was built next to the old church, which could accommodate 800 people. The church received a rich interior not only in woodcarving, but also in historical terms. The retabulum is baroque, was made in the 17th century and comes from the church of Oo. Franciscans from Namysłów. It is full of sculptures because it was dedicated to 14 helpers who have been very popular in Silesia since the 14th century. At the end of the nineteenth century, about 4,500 people lived in the parish, so in 1894 the Parish Council came up with an expansion project, which was to build a transept and expand the presbytery. Permission was obtained in 1902, and work began in 1905. The development costs were estimated at 70,000. brands. After the masonry works were completed, the church was equipped and new organs were installed. A large part of the church interior is covered with frescoes.
