Definitely a memorable place that shows horrors of a war from unusual, impressive perspective. Not for children. Unfortunately it seems to be created at low cost. Big minus is that one of the stories described as real is actually an urban legend.

The place was going to be interesting, but I was disappointed. It makes a good impression at first - you walk into a dark, cold bunker, and there you hear sirens and bombardments ... but it's actually a bunker filled with mannequins, clothes (new ones that look very out of context) and boards with level information below Wikipedia . There are (I think) authentic props, such as damaged chairs, old gas lamps; but because they are already so damaged, they do not help to create the impression that you are there, in a bunker, during the war - and this is promised by advertising for attractions. Fortunately, I bought a ticket (PLN 8, instead of a single ticket PLN 6), which gave me admission to the "Sea Secrets", which - on the contrary - exceeded my expectations. "The Macabre of the 20th Century" definitely needs to be improved, but you can walk there if you are really bored. Or take the children, because they might be impressed by this production.

From the very beginning, we were surprised by a nice seller. Tickets very cheap and inside you don't need a guide. Everything is perfectly described and awesome. We believe that Makabra has served its purpose. Exhibition as a warning to wars, you can feel the turbulent atmosphere, and some pictures are very scary reminiscent of the war period.
