Nice hilltop, closed but you can peek through the glass. The church was built as a combination of three chapels - the Way of the Cross station. It was a ruse because the Prussian authorities did not agree to build a new church. The construction took three years. The first mass was held in June 1896.
Roman Catholic Church of the Resurrection on the Calvary Hill in Piekary Śląskie near the Basilica of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew. The church was built in 1893-1896 in the neo-Gothic style, built of brick, built on a rectangular plan. The temple has three naves, as well as a narrow closed three-sided presbytery. On the facade of the church are recesses in which there are three stations of the cross. During state pilgrimages men (last Sunday of May) and women (first Sunday after August 15) an altar is erected in front of the church at which the Eucharist is celebrated. Masses in the period June - August are celebrated on Sundays at 13.
Nice church in the heart of Calvary, but unfortunately closed every day. Nowhere is it given when it is open or when the Eucharist is celebrated in it.
A small church on a hill among old trees and beautiful nature.
Such a nice, large park, and you can't with a dog? Are you afraid that the aspen dog will sacred ground or what?
