Protestant church located in the city center. There is also a cemetery and a small park which looks very picturesque in spring and autumn.

The emergence of the Evangelical church in Rybnik is associated with the destiny of the Rybnik castle at the end of the 18th century as a home for war invalids who were wounded during the Silesian Wars. Near the castle in the economic complex there was a wooden net - a room for storing and drying fishing nets. This building was rebuilt in 1791 by Franciszek Ilgner. With minor modifications, the church survived until the fire in 1853. At that time, the existing brick building was built. Due to its intended use, it was called the Church of Invalids. From the beginning of the parish's operation until 1945, German pastors served the institution. Two years before World War II, services for the Polish part of parishioners were celebrated by Fr. Robert Fiszkal. From September 2002, the parish priest is Father Mirosław Sikora. The solemn service on the occasion of the 220th anniversary of the Rybnik parish was started by Fr. Mirosław Sikora, a parish priest, welcoming guests.
