Kapliczka zwana “kapliczką Gniłków”

The chapel was built in 1829, but it was probably destroyed by time. In 1937, parishioners from nearby Dziećkowice (Mysłowice district) decided to rebuild the chapel that stands today. It is located near the forest, at ul. Adam Dzióbek, along the tourist trail, yellow Ks. Jan Kuder. It was built of limestone or dolomite, from small blows, which were made, among others quite skillfully the basket vault above the entrance to the chapel, which is not easy to make from this type of building material. Some 5-6 years ago it was renovated, protected against weather conditions, including joints were protected against excessive chipping, plaster was compacted and thus stone threads of walls were discovered. It is a "small sacred building" built on a square plan, brick, unplastered, covered with a two-sided roof, covered with modern shingle, dark color. It has no side windows, except for the niche, which may have been (since 1937) a window in which the painting of the Mother of Calvary from 1937 is placed behind the decorative grille, but it is not known whether it is from Kalwaria Zebrzydowska or from Piekarska, or whose is authored. In the front elevation, a wooden door was embedded half-paneled, and from it wooden rungs, made, I suppose on a contemporary lathe and glazed. Two boards were placed in the gable wall. The one on the left has the inscription: "FOR GLORY, THE FOUNDATION OF PRAGNILKY AND ZEKNY ZONNY IEGOWROKV 1829 ZACKTORICH V PRASCZAMOJ ONE DOSPM SALVATION", and on the right the second, saying: "ANNO DOMINI 1937 RECOVER. ALL SAINTS IN CHILDREN ". The interior of the chapel is covered with a barrel vault. The chapel's interior is a painting of the Virgin Mary with the Child.
