The cross has always stood and stands there. It protects us from evil and it is good that it is there. The church is above and it is a signpost for the faithful.

The cross stands in the place of the old palace. According to legends, folk tales and history in this place Two Bytom priests from the parish of the Blessed Virgin Mary were drowned in the fourteenth century ... Then a curse was imposed on the city of Bytom for 70 years, and some say that it lasts until today
