Church of Christ the Lord the Savior in Podgórze - a Roman Catholic church in Podgórze, a former Orthodox church and then a Uniate monastery of the Transfiguration. The building was probably built in the 12th-13th century, but it is not known exactly when it began to perform sacred functions. Rebuilt in the nineteenth century. After regaining independence, the temple was restored to the benefit of the Roman Catholic Church. From 1924, it was a Catholic parish church. The church is worth visiting because of its spiritual and historic qualities. recommend
