The chapel was built in 1835 by Wincenty Toedwen, a cavalryman in the Napoleonic campaign, on his family estate. This foundation was a votive offering for saving life in the charge of Somosierra (1808). The chapel is a small, unplastered, fieldstone structure built on a rectangular plan with a semicircular apse. At the top of the façade there is a folk sculpture of St. Florian. The chapel is surrounded by a low stone wall.
