A beautiful fountain with a sad but beautiful legend.

The legend says that the daughter of the owner of the palace, Witoslava, liked to play on the wild beach of the lake. One day, on a hot afternoon, the girl's babysitter fell asleep. Then water nymphs emerged from the depths of the lake and, amidst dancing and singing, took little Witoslaw to their underwater kingdom. After this event, the desperate father and courtiers ran along the lake shore, calling out the name of Witosław, looking for the missing girl for many days. The echo carried Witoslaw's name across the water and returned reflected from the forest wall as ... fame. From then on, the lake and the surrounding area were called Sława.
