The Town Hall in Międzyrzecz is a classicist building erected in 1743-1752 in the place of the previous seat of the city authorities. In 1831 the town hall was rebuilt and in 1924 it was renovated. The first town hall was built in 1581 on the basis of the privilege of the Polish king Stefan Batory. This building burned down in 1666, and the second town hall built in 1670 also burned down in 1731. It is a two-storey building, erected on a rectangular plan and covered with a pediment roof. In the center of the roof is a four-sided tower with clock dials, covered with a soaring neo-Gothic helmet.
