I do not know about others but for me this church is not an ordinary place where you can pray, for me it is special I cannot express with words it is magical when I pray I know that my guardian angel is next to me

An architectural competition was announced in 1914. Ultimately, the preparation of the project was commissioned to Wilhelm Wagner and Oskar Hossfeld. The cornerstone was laid on May 19. In April 1916, the church was already covered with a roof. The temple was officially consecrated on January 3, 1917. The building was equipped with electric heating, a clock and electric organs. The church and its interior refer to early Christian basilicas. The church was built of brick on a rectangular plan with an adjacent chancel with a sacristy from the south-west and a four-sided reinforced concrete tower in the north-east plan. Four bells were installed at the top of the tower. In the three-nave interior, galleries are supported by columns. The altar is made of Rhine stone and the baptismal font is made of white and red sandstone. The temple can accommodate 2,000 worshipers, including 800 in the pews on the ground floor and 400 in the galleries. For many years, organ, symphonic and choral music concerts have been organized here. In 1946 the church was taken over by Catholics, and in 1951 it became the temple of the newly erected parish of the Holy Savior.

Wonderful priests, a positively crazy priest Krzysztof - the joy, the glow from his face makes you smile immediately. They can talk to tourists. Sanitary regime respected (masks, Holy Communion in the mouth and hand in separate columns).
