Church of St. The cross was erected at the beginning of the 18th century as a result of the extension of the 17th-century princely chapel, donated to the Jesuits who arrived in Cieszyn in 1673. The building underwent many reconstructions and renovations, in 1781 - 1782 a tower was erected and the interior of the church was vaulted. During the fire of the city in 1789, the church was destroyed, but until 1791 it was rebuilt and received the character of the Baroque building, which we are watching to this day :)
